The Professional Development & Resource Center offers professional development via webinar and online courses (using Moodle). Just as we verify participant enrollment in face-to-face sessions via sign-in sheets, we also verify enrollment in virtual sessions by doing the following:
Take role of all participants on the webinar or course at the start of the session.
Plan for engagement of participants throughout the session. Participants are asked to participate in chats, answering questions/voting, or through conversation.
If a presenter does not hear from a participant, he or she may ask them a question directly.
At the end of the session, the presenter will initial the sign-in sheet if the participant interacted throughout the virtual session.
The sign-in sheets for all virtual sessions are distributed to districts just as those from face to face sessions.
